Yaël Braun-Pivet : une présidence marquée par la consensus et l'histoire
Yaël Braun-Pivet is a French lawyer and politician who has been President of the French National Assembly since June 28, 2022. She is the first woman to hold this position and was re-elected in July 2024. Braun-Pivet has been a member of the National Assembly since 2017, representing Yvelines. She previously served as Minister of Overseas Territories in May 2022 but resigned when she became President of the National Assembly. She is known for her role in organizing a march against antisemitism in France, which drew over 100,000 participants. Braun-Pivet is a member of President Emmanuel Macron's Renaissance party and has gained recognition as a consensus-builder.
