Elton John's career started with the band Bluesology before he adopted his iconic stage name in honor of members Elton Dean and Long John Baldry. He collaborated with Bernie Taupin on songwriting, working with producers Gus Dudgeon and arranger Paul Buckmaster for his album. John disbanded the Elton John Band due to internal tensions. He released a live album "Elton John One Night Only – The Greatest Hits," capturing a Madison Square Garden performance. In 2014, he established the Elton John Sports Fund to support athletes with training and competition expenses across various sports.
