Payne Haas is of Samoan, Swiss, and Filipino descent. He played for the Australian Schoolboys in 2016. Haas played for New South Wales in two series wins (2023 and 2024), contributing significantly with his tackles, runs, and offloads. In 2024, he achieved 2 tries, 73 tackle breaks, 747 post-contact meters, 23 offloads, and a 98% tackle efficiency rate. His strong performance secured him a spot in the NSW Origin team for the sixth consecutive year, contributing to the Blues' victory.
