The Victorian Government will replace the Fire Services Property Levy (FSPL) with the Emergency Services and Volunteers Fund (ESVF) starting July 1, 2025. Councils will allow payment in four installments. Currently, the residential fixed charge for FSPL is $132 and the non-residential fixed charge is $267. However, a proposed amendment to the Fire Services Property Levy would significantly increase levies for primary producers by an average of 109%, jumping from $621 to $1,299 per assessment.

Bradman Best is an Indigenous Australian and Welsh rugby league player who currently plays as a center for the Newcastle Knights in the NRL.
