Deandre Ayton has signed a two-year, $16.6 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. Ayton spent the previous two seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers after playing for the Phoenix Suns. During the 2024-25 season with the Blazers, he averaged 14.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game while shooting 56.6% from the field.

He played for the North Queensland Cowboys from 2020 to 2022, winning the 2020 NRL Nines tournament and finishing as the equal leading try scorer. Michael Walters is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Fremantle Football Club in the AFL. Born on January 7, 1991, he returned to a forward position in the 2022 season after spending time in the midfield. He ultimately achieved victory with Australia II in 1983, cementing his place in Australian history. There is also a British Alan Bond, born in 1944, who is a mechanical and aerospace engineer.
