A colossal squid has been filmed in its natural environment for the first time since the species was discovered 100 years ago during an expedition in the south Atlantic Ocean. Experts believe colossal squid can grow up to 7 meters (23 feet) in length and weigh up to 500 kilograms (1,100 pounds), making them the heaviest invertebrate on the planet. Little is known about the colossal squid's life cycle, but they eventually lose the transparent appearance of juveniles. The Natural History Museum has suggested it is hard to estimate the global population of colossal squids.

The government won't release data on how many Americans are mistakenly detained. While there are solutions to prevent this, immigration authorities haven't implemented them. People entering the US should be aware that refusing to answer questions may result in delays or further inspection. If questioned intrusively, complain and ask for a supervisor.
