Published on: 6/14/2025

Protesters are organizing a "NO KINGS Nationwide Day of Defiance" on June 14th during Donald Trump's military parade in Washington D.C. Activists aim to counter the parade and highlight what they see as authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies, including crackdowns on free speech, detentions based on political views, threats to deport American citizens, and defiance of court orders. The movement encourages participation nationwide with planned events in towns and cities across every state. In New York City, a march is scheduled to begin at Bryant Park at 1:15 PM, with attendees asked to RSVP with the NYCLU or join further south on 5th Avenue around 38th Street.
