A helicopter carrying pilgrims crashed in Uttarakhand, India, killing seven people, including a two-year-old child and the pilot. The Civil Aviation Ministry has suspended both pilots' licenses for six months. The committee aims to identify responsible parties and recommend strict action. Angry Ginger, real name Burtwistle, is a British Twitch streamer known for his FIFA gameplay. JJ Spaun was born in Los Angeles on August 21, 1990. He played professionally on PGA Tour Canada from 2013 to 2016 before transitioning to the PGA Tour. In his rookie season (2016-17), he achieved three top-ten finishes and ranked 97th in the FedEx Cup standings. After 147 PGA Tour starts, Spaun secured his first PGA Tour win at the Valero Texas Open in April 2022. He has won a total of five professional tournaments, including two on the PGA Tour.

Lukas Nmecha spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Preston North End before moving to VfL Wolfsburg on a season-long loan in August 2019. At least twelve people were injured in a hot air balloon crash near an archaeological site near Mexico City on Friday. The balloon hit an air pocket and undertook a "forced landing" in San Martin de las Pirámides. The civil protection agency for the state of Mexico stated that the balloon was operated by a tour company offering rides to view the pyramids. A 29-year-old man, detained by police, is under investigation by the Attorney General’s Office for the state of Mexico. A hot air balloon crashed in central Turkey on Sunday, leaving its pilot dead and 19 Indonesian tourists injured. The pilot became trapped under the basket and died. The injured tourists were taken to a hospital.

Blaise Metreweli, a career intelligence officer, will become the first woman to lead MI6. Metreweli joined the service in 1999 and has experience working at both MI5 and MI6. She will succeed Sir Richard Moore in the autumn of 2025. Keir Starmer highlighted the importance of intelligence services, stating that their work is "more vital than ever." Sir Richard Moore previously warned of threats to the international world comparable to the Cold War.

A group of animal rights activists unintentionally release a chimpanzee infected with a highly contagious virus called "Rage" from a medical research lab.
