Prison governor Kerri Pegg began a relationship with drug-dealing gang boss Anthony Saunderson while he was incarcerated at HMP Kirkham, which she governed. Pegg was found guilty of two counts of misconduct in public office for her actions. Police raids on her home revealed a toothbrush with Saunderson's DNA and evidence that she was living beyond her means, purchasing designer items despite having little in her savings account.
