Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki on the Indonesian island of Flores erupted, spewing an ash tower over 11km into the sky. Authorities raised the highest alert level and advised residents to stay within a 7km radius of the crater. Numerous flights to and from Bali were canceled or delayed due to the eruption. Airlines affected include Air India, Air New Zealand, Jetstar, Juneyao Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and Virgin Australia. The cancellations also impacted domestic AirAsia flights leaving for Labuan Bajo on Flores.
