The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for most of the Brazos Valley, including Brazos County, Burleson County, Grimes County, Washington County, Walker County, Houston County, Trinity County, Madison County, Milam County, Robertson County, Leon County. This watch is in effect through 12 AM Thursday. Damaging wind gusts (60 mph+) and damaging hail (1 inch +) remain a possibility. The Severe Thunderstorm Watch 324 has been expanded by the National Weather Service to include additional counties in west and central Alabama. The watch is now in effect for Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston counties until 11 PM CDT this evening. Storms are increasing tonight across West Alabama, especially across Pickens and getting ready to move into Lamar County.
