Flavio Briatore is a former Formula One team principal with a history of success. He led Team Enstone (Benetton Formula / Renault F1 Team) to three World Constructors' Championships and four World Drivers' Championships. Briatore has faced legal challenges, including convictions for fraud in the 1980s. He returned to Formula One in May 2024 as an executive advisor to the Alpine F1 Team, the team he previously led. Briatore aims to bring renewed direction and success to the struggling Alpine squad. He is also a driver manager, partly due to his continued involvement with Fernando Alonso.
