Apple Taps Sabih Khan as New COO

Indian politician Sanjay Gaikwad serves as an MLA in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from the Buldhana Vidhan Sabha constituency, representing Shiv Sena. The Gambhira Bridge over the Mahisagar River collapsed early on July 9th, 2025, near Padra in Vadodara district. The collapse sent several vehicles, including a truck, tanker, and cars, into the river. Two people died and three were rescued. The bridge connected Anand and Vadodara districts, serving as a crucial link between Central Gujarat and Saurashtra for over four decades. Its collapse has severely impacted road connectivity between Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, and Ankleshwar, disrupting daily commutes, goods transport, and inter-district travel. An investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of the bridge's collapse.
